Dear Participant,

We would like to confirm that there are no plans to postpone the 17 th International Conference on Health Promoting Hospitals & Health Services, which will be organized as scheduled on May 6-8 in Crete.

In addition, it should be noted that both the Greek Minister of Health and Social Solidarity  and  the representative of the Hellenic Center for Infectious Diseases Control underlined today (April 27th)  that “there's no cause for concern ” related to this situation.

Also, we would like to inform you  that the Hellenic Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity, all related Greek health authorities and the security services at Athens International Airport held a meeting on Sunday April 26 th to discuss the progress of the swine fever epidemic that has appeared in Mexico and the southern United States, setting up mechanisms and procedures for dealing with suspected incidents of the disease.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Crete.
